We recently completed a full primary bathroom renovation with CPR Construction, and we could not be happier with the experience and the finished result. Chris worked very hard for us. He gutted, reconfigured, and rebuilt our master bathroom. We are absolutely delighted with how it turned out! Many of the choices and dimensions were custom but he kept up with our requests, and in the event of a miscommunication, he quickly adjusted his work to meet expectations. All of his subcontractors do quality work. He owns most of the communication with them to set expectations and correct errors when they arise, but it was helpful for us to be routinely available to review what was done and make sure our expectations were clearly communicated. As long as you're clear about what you want, he can explain your options and make it happen. Problems are going to come up on the job and overall we were pleased with how he handled them. One of the most important parts of the job for me was making sure that the shower would be well waterproofed and tiled beautifully. Both of those happened. Overall we can highly recommend Chris to those considering a remodel.

Chris is one of those exceptional people to work with and did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. From the start, the process of communication and quoting process were clear and professional. Any questions were answered promptly. Throughout the process he kept us informed of the schedule and what would take place. He has exceptional communication skills and attention to detail. From all the list of vendors to the subs, all were top notch. Everyone was respectful of our home. This was by far the best contractor experience we have ever had. We appreciated working with Chris on our bathroom remodels. It was nice to work with someone that lives in the neighborhood, and is familiar with homes in the area. He was helpful in guiding us, and prompt with our requests.

Our third project with Chris was to build a new half bath in a former pantry. This required new plumbing, electrical and HVAC, installation of a new transom window and doors, and custom shelving in an adjacent closet. The project proceeded smoothly and on-schedule, including our last-minute addition of wainscoting. We appreciate Chris's attention to detail, flexibility, and knowledge of all of the different trades involved in this project. The new half bath is a wonderful addition to our home and we couldn't be happier with it.

We desperately needed an in-home office and after inspecting our home top to bottom CPR Construction came up with a better usage of our large bonus room & soon built us a side office w/ a beautiful window that needed no big home addition. The team worked fast & their attention to detail (shifting light fixtures etc) were things we would've never thought of, yet enhanced the overall design & outcome. Chris took on an extensive renovation of our home and we are completely satisfied with both the process and the outcome. He is professional, experienced, knowledgeable and easy to work with. We returned to the CPR Construction team for our second phase of home projects based on the quality we experienced using CPR before. This phase involved updating the kitchen counters, adding a backsplash, installing a new dishwasher, sink, fixtures, and installing/updating kitchen lighting; adding recessed lighting to the family room, study, and second floor hallway; and ceiling repairs to two bedrooms and the master bedroom closet. As before, Chris was friendly, informative, and easy to work with. He went the extra mile to help us determine the appropriate lighting settings (which we are very particular about!), and to complete additional projects they came up during the process, such as drywall repair and painting an additional bedroom and Chris even added flooring to areas of our attic, neither of which were within our original requests. When we plan more home improvement/upgrade projects, we will definitely use the CPR team again in the future!

Chris and Team just finished a remodel on our home - including an over-the-garage unfinished space to finished bonus conversion and remodel of our upstairs landing, stairs, and downstairs office areas. Chris's assistance, professionalism, and communication during both the planning and execution phases of this project was TRULY EXCELLENT ! Chris just completed a major 20' x 30' screened porch addition for us (pictured on his website under "Additions", "Baybrook Porch". We purchased the house in 2021 and knew on the day of purchase that the old screened porch needed to be torn down and a new porch added. The old porch had wooden supports that were bowing, and overall the porch was in bad shape. Chris tore the old porch to the ground, and we rebuilt it with masonary supports. A number of subcontractors were hired to do the footings, steel beam, electrical, etc. and throughout the entire process Chris watched over every detail as if it was his own. Now that the project is complete, he has stopped by to visit and continues to examine the final project to make sure no detail was missed. I had known Chris for several years before this project and knew his personality and attention to detail. When we decided to re-build the screened porch, Chris was the only one we called because I knew I could not find anyone else who was more conscientious. Now that we are finished, we sit on the porch and talk about how perfect it is and how much we love it. I highly recommend Chris and CPR Construction!

Chris just completed a master bath renovation at my Cary house in Lochmere Summer of 2023 that turned out really well. This is the 4th major project here, the 1st was 9 years ago for a full basement build out, then a master bathroom repair, then a full interior paint and guest bath renovation, and now finally this master bath re-do. He's dependable, goes the extra mile, communicates well, and has very friendly and trustworthy subcontractors for various trades like plumbing, electrical, tiling, and painting. He's even helped me pick up things in his truck at Home Depot that I've ordered for my projects like vanities, tubs, and so on. Really a great guy. Obviously repeat business speaks volumes. Several of my neighbors have used him too. Highly recommended.

I had been putting off a long overdue renovation, not knowing just what to expect. The work touched many areas as I redid my kitchen, master bath, hall bath, moved the laundry upstairs, and refinished the floors on the entire first floor. I was impressed when the subcontractors showed up with Chris to do the estimate. I realized that this gave them the scope of the work from day one, putting everyone on the same page. Chris was very hands-on, starting with demo day, and continuing throughout the four-month process. Communication was mainly by email and was very responsive. I was always kept informed of the schedule. On the days that I was stumbling on decisions, Chris was there to make suggestions and give me options. I am delighted with the results and am getting many compliments from family and friends.

CPR Construction recently completed a two-bathroom project for us, one of which was a complete remodel. I am absolutely thrilled with my master bathroom and bedroom renovation thanks to Chris. He turned the designs we created into a reality and I couldn't be happier as my bathroom looks better than I could have ever expected. I would say it is a masterpiece!!! From the minute I met Chis, when we were getting quotes for contractor selection, I could tell that Chris was going to be very detail oriented and hands on. My assessment was spot on because Chris was always at the house checking on the work that was being done if he did not do it himself. He definitely takes pride in his work and it shows. He was also always available if I had any questions or if clarifications were needed especially related to the timing of what to expect for the week and the completion of the project. Our renovation was extensive, exterior and interior renovations and remodeling. Chris Raneri (CPR Construction) was the perfect person for it. He started by listening to us and asking questions and then gave us time and cost estimates for different scenarios. Once we decided, he walked us through his plan for all the work, the timeline for what he'd do and what we'd need to do, and then coordinated and oversaw that all the work was done efficiently and with such attention to detail. He juggled different trades' scheduling to keep work going continuously, identified any additional issues or possibilities as he saw them, and explained the costs, benefits, and impact of addressing them. He kept us informed on the scheduling, any changes, and any questions he had and welcomed any questions or fixes/changes we wanted. Since he's got extensive construction and remodeling background, he's developed relationships with quality subcontractors and suppliers, which meant good quality work and product and reasonable prices for us. Even with such a good relationship and confidence in his subcontractor crews, he still monitored all the work and had any fixes done immediately if found. The work was done in the planned time and to budget. And the finished product is even better than we could've imagined! It is absolutely wonderful and we couldn't be happier. We would (and probably will) use Chris again!

This is the second time we have worked with CPR Construction. While our first project, creating a MIL suite by combining several rooms, was major, this one was minor: replacing worn-out carpeting with new vinyl plank flooring in an office and guest room, painting same, replacing ceiling fans, and rebuilding several closet interiors with wooden shelving. The work went smoothly, ten days start to finish including the weekend, and the refreshed rooms look like a million bucks (but didn't cost anywhere near that!). Chris cheerfully and competently took care of several other small jobs around the house while he was here. We appreciate working with Chris because of the quality of his work, his attention to detail, and his cost-consciouos and pragmatic approach. We also like the fact that Chris lives in Cary, as we do, makes time to stop by whenever the we need to talk, and keeps us informed of the day to day work schedule so that we are not surprised by delieveries or subcontractors ringing the doorbell unexpectedly. And his invoice matched his estimate! While our house will probably never be "done," it is much nicer to live in thanks in no small part to Chris's efforts.

CPR just finished up my second home renovation project they've done for me. In 2022 it was a bathroom remodel and extensive painting and popcorn ceiling removal project, after in 2015 doing a 900 square foot basement construction from bare floor and bare walls. I am impressed by Chris Raneri who leads the company, and the quality of the contractors he has doing various trades like electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. Chris is great about communicating what to expect, has a great attention to detail, and has very high standards of his own work and other's craftsmanship, too. He's been super helpful on logistics, and is a very friendly, trustworthy guy. Having now done 2 significant projects for me, and referring my neighbors to him (who also hired him), I would not hesitate to recommend CPR. My projects have turned out great.

Our Primary Bathroom renovation with Chris turned out to be a great experience - even during a pandemic! Chris was thorough, organized, patient and responsive. Prior to starting the project, he set realistic expectations based on supply chain availability and offered alternative ideas and suggestions to help off-set even more extensive delays. He listened to our ideas and our "must haves" before making any suggestions to ensure he had a good picture of what we were envisioning. When a change was necessary due to structural discoveries during demo, he gave clear information and was open to talking through multiple solutions instead of just telling us what we had to do. All of the sub contractors he brought in for the project were professional, polite and efficient. We found the experience to be a positive one and are pleased with the final outcome. We would definitely recommend Chris and we would use him again for another renovation or addition.

This is the second project I've done with Chris now and his attention to detail, quality of work and fantastic subs are nothing short of tens across the board. After our first reno with Chris (our entire main floor including powder bath, kitchen, removing walls, etc) we knew that if we took on another major project he would be our guy - we didn't even call other GCs for quotes because working with Chris is just too good. In this project, we renovated our master bath, along with some odds and ends across the house (including adding recessed lighting, board and batten, updating some electrical, doors, etc). I was VERY particular on what I was looking for and he was able to accommodate everything physically possible. We went from an 80s style bathroom to a beautiful retreat that we will be able to enjoy for the years to come. Key things to note - he is SUPER responsive, including nights and weekends (which is great for two working parents); his subs are completely trust worthy (in two projects I have not had one bad experience with a single sub); and the quality of work can't be beat. I can't recommend him enough. In fact, it's all I do as soon as a friend or family member even mentions a project, I always throw his name out :) Thanks Chris! Chris completed a master bath renovation for us. The finished product was/is beautiful. There ended up being a hidden issue. Chris immediately came to our home to address. People always express how happy they are with a project. We were and still are, but I think it is a sign of character and trust that Chris addressed a problem months after the project was completed. Chris and CPR Construction did a master bathroom and utility room remodel for us. Despite various nationwide supply issues during the Covid pandemic Chris was able to coordinate the various aspects expertly and true to the budget. His attention to detail and insistence on perfection for both labor and materials was unparalleled. Though Covid produced various twists and turns his regular timely communication with us helped make the project stress free. On a scale of 1-10 Chris and CPR would rate a 10 and we are very pleased with the result.
